Empowering Lives · Jonesboro, AR
New Life Empowerment Development Center, Inc. was registered with the IRS in 2009 as a Bible Study ministry and incorporated in 2014 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are a fulfillment of a dream — providing technology, skill acquisition, and empowerment through learning at the grassroots level.
We are passionate about teaching individuals, families, communities and nations the value of enlightenment through God's purpose for our lives. We are committed to helping everyone who will accept any type of help we offer.
Beyond the classroom, we teach kids how to use computers from the ground up, loan laptops directly to students in need, and partner with local churches to administer development programs and homework assistance to children across the city of Jonesboro.
Since 2009, New Life Empowerment Development Center has been quietly transforming lives in Jonesboro, AR — one family, one student, one community member at a time. Through technology access, laptop loans, skill acquisition, mentoring, church partnerships, and faith, we equip people with the tools they need to rise above their circumstances and walk in their God-given purpose.

Led by Rev. (Dr.) Greg Ota, our Thursday Bible Study is a non-denominational gathering open to everyone — regardless of background or denomination. We study the Word of God verse by verse, equipping attendees to be solution bearers in their homes, workplaces, and community. Whether you're a lifelong believer or simply curious, you are welcome here.
Every year before the school bell rings, NLEDC rallies volunteers and donors to make sure no child in Jonesboro starts the school year unprepared. We provide backpacks loaded with pens, pencils, rulers, and essential supplies to students from Kindergarten through High School — completely free, on a first-come, first-served basis. It takes a village, and we'd love for you to be part of ours. Watch this page and your local church for event dates.
No laptop? No problem. NLEDC loans laptops directly to students who need them, ensuring that every child has access to the technology required to learn, grow, and thrive. We believe the digital divide should never stand between a student and their potential. Reach out to us to find out how to apply for a loaner device.
We teach kids and community members how to use computers from the ground up — from internet basics and email to practical digital skills that open doors. In partnership with local churches across the city, we administer development programs and homework assistance to children, equipping them with the real-world abilities they need to succeed in school and beyond.
A glimpse into our computer labs, laptop loan program, skill acquisition workshops, community outreach, mentoring sessions, church partnerships, Bible studies, and the lives we are privileged to touch every day in Jonesboro, AR.
